Hummus

I’m a big fan of hummus. This is a very basic recipe but a good starter one that you can things to according to taste e.g. basil, beetroot, orange. An ideal dip for veggies, flat breads etc.

Recipe:

  • 400g tin of chickpeas rinsed and drained

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp tahini

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • Pinch of sea salt

Method:

Place all the ingredients into a food processor ( I use my nutri bullet and blend until smooth and creamy)

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days.
